A trio of great South Africa swings

This would have been a wonderful round to follow in the 2006 Masters. There is clearly the fun and relaxed attitude of a practice round and it’s great to see the three multi-major winners all playing together.

I used to use a picture of Goosen’s follow through as a reminder of how to hold a perfectly balanced follow through after a swing. If my swinging was off I switched my focus away from the ball and towards the creation of a perfectly held follow through. If you can produce this then most of what has gone on before is likely to have been okay and it’s a good trick to take your mind away from swing thoughts.

Needless to say I watched Ernie’s swing a lot during the year and he will regularly feature on the site too.
